Welcome
Welcome, and thank you for visiting the First Presbyterian Church of Mifflinburg, PA online. Please come to our church for an in-person visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus and for you, our neighbor.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms and doors to those in search and in need of the truth. We show God’s love and concern at every opportunity. Through works of community outreach such as our Loaves and Fishes meals and our Blessing Tables full of free items to meet people's immediate needs, we feel we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus. Our aim is to help meet those physical needs and transcend to helping people in understanding and meeting their spiritual needs.
Services
Services are held in our historic Church on Green Street in our town of Mifflinburg, PA.
Sunday Morning services are at 10:30 AM per the schedule below.

News

The Presbytery is working with Church World Service in collecting Flood Clean-up buckets. Bucket content details explained below.
We are happy to announce that Coles Hardware has donated several new buckets and lids ready to be filled as a flood cleanup bucket.

The whole world is becoming more and more aware of the difficulty of having sufficient clean water to sustain healthy life in many places around the world. The presbytery is inviting people, families or congregations to make a special offering of $60 for the material to build one in-home water filter in Nicaragua. Our hope is to be able to take a group to Nicaragua to work with a local community to build these filters.

Checks for these special offerings and opportunities can be sent to:

Flood Cleanup Buckets
Our church is working to provide flood buckets for our Presbytery Committee on
Service to help people throughout the US dealing with the flooding that occurs so
often and seemingly every year.

Our thanks to Coles hardware for providing several new buckets and lids, ready for
the contents to fill the buckets.

If you haven't put any Flood Cleanup Buckets together, all it takes is one
trip to the nearest Dollar General or Walmart. The cost for the bucket
and everything to fill it is about $60 – The value to the family cleaning
their home after a flood is priceless.
